- Regarding the petition that it mentions that homeowners can file to try to get their LAR converted: the LC Transportation Planning department has recently told a homeowner that only petitions for roads that have already been brought up to current County (and City) standards for new roads would be considered. Furthermore, from County leadership, I have heard that only one petition, for an LAR in Florence, has been accepted by the Board of Commissioners over the past six years and that was after years of protest by homeowners.
